Keeping a tent space for my mates

Hi, this is gonna be my first time at V Fest. Im travelling down on my own and my mates are travelling up to meet me. Im going to get there before them so will pick a campsite and set up my tent. I know its gonna be chaos but how will most people react if i try to keep a space for my mates tent. Im sure some will be pissed off or ill get a stiff ignoring. Any ideas? cheers

depends on what sort of time your mates are going to arrive, ive seen people saving spots no problem but later on on a friday evening when its beginning to get more cramped, you may have more of an issue then. also the spot you pick can make a difference, if your top end of gold for instance it will be ages if ever before anyone starts moaning

Best thing to do is take their tent and pitch it for them. If you're on one of the more popular sites people will just pitch there anyway!
