Foo Fighters or Justice?

My views...

Foo Fighters - Aren't a particularly exciting band, but will deliver a hit filled set that will be a good ending to the festival

Justice - I found them dull in 2008, but seem to be popular for dance fans

Less Than Jake - Will be great fun, just depends if you're in to that

The View - A fantastic (surprisingly so) live act that have been really great the three times I've seen them. People are quite negative toward them because of the 'we hate indie' cool kids. But they're a solid live act, and would be great fun the the tent.

The View started off being pretty good live but seem to have gone a bit downhill. Although it's pretty entertaining trying to work out what the hell they are saying through their thick Dundee accents.

I'm still torn between Foo Fighters and Justice, but I figure I'll go see the beginning of Foo Fighters and if they are good enough I'll stay.

Depends on who you're likely to get to see soon. Justice are definitely the better live act, but their shows are more common, and a lot cheaper (I completely disagree with Lewis Cato here). Of course, if your main experience of live music is doing Reading each year, then Foos will be more common.

Also, mainstage headliners at festivals are fractionally more likely to do a unique set than tent headliners. There's the chance of Foos doing something special for some reason. I think that's less lt waikely with Justice.

Personally, I'm going to be watching Foos, but that decision is made a lot easier by Justice being at Bestival....

I was looking forward to seeing Foo Fighters from when the rumours of them where knocking around last ~December. However I seen Justice in February and was blown away by how amazing it was, easily in my top 3 gigs ever, so when it was announced they'd be clashing it hurt quite a bit.

I'm choosing Justice just because of how fantastic they were in February and it is likely it will be exactly the same set/mixes.

For the person who said Justice are a more scarce act that is a lie, I'm seeing Justice 3 times this year whereas I've only really had 2 chances to see Foo Fighters (Mk bowl/Leeds)

I've got a feeling this Foo's set might be really special "I was there" kind of set.

Then again when they headline Download, IoW or TitP next year again maybe not.

I'll be at Foo's as that's where my friends will be but as I've never seen Justice before I can't say I'm not tempted after hearing how good they are on here I am fucking tempted.

Pretty much my reasoning behind going to see Foo's....still tempted as I think TDCC into Justice will be awesome but with both at Bestival...it doesn't make much sense not seeing a band I kind of like but haven't seen before when i am seeing the other a few weeks later

complete bullshit.

Foo Fighters all the way. I reall believe that this set could go down in history as one of the greatest sets like Nirvana and Metcallica. They may not be my favorite band in the world, but they do have some very decent songs that are made for this stage. Justice may be good live, but is impossible to produce something special because they are essentially playing tracks off a computer, it will be exactly the same every time.
