Siamesedream22
I've only recent got into ATDI but relationship of command is one of my favourite albums now, It's going to be nuts when they play Arcarsenal, can't wait for the whole crowd to shout' I MUST HAVE READ A THOUSAND FACES'! Gonna be epic!
edfirth
I am obviously going to see The Cure and At the Drive-In. But I have to be honest, The Cure probably won't be that good if you're not in to them or you're feeling in the right mood for it. They are very chilled live and there's no much going on There should be a split option on here too, as I'm probably going on to watch part of both Foos and Justice
mrtourette
After an hour and a half of The Cure I might just be ready to go and see Social D.

jump
Firstly, people who aren't into The Cure have no soul. Secondly, there's plenty going on. They had an amazing energy at Bestival.

she bangs the drums
It would appear that the only people who went to see At The Drive-In all actually post on efestivals (all 76 of us) The crowd was an embarrassment to the festival, smallest NME headline crowd ever. she bangs the drums
Where was the crowd for Saturday night at Leeds? I watched the first hour of The Cure at Leeds and it was empty, even after they had started I could walk in front of the barrier towards the middle without any problems, I then went and watched Social D and the tent was pretty empty for that, my friend went and watch Sleigh Bells and a bit of the Maccabees and said both of those didn't really draw big crowds either so did people just go back to the Camp Site and come back out later for the late night entertainment? Vieuphoria
I ended up seeing The Cure, At The Drive-In, about an hour and a half of Foo Fighters (went off to see Me First And The GImme Gimmes who were far more entertaining)... Siamesedream22
I was right at the front for ATDI so i didnt really notice if it was a big crowd or not, but im guessing it wasn't smaller than Justice? I went over to catch a bit of them and it seemed like the place was empty

efcfanwirral
Bit of a mixed bag on the headliners for me (Leeds): I did the whole of Foos, first hour or so in the front bit (amazing crowd) then went to find some mates who who were working at the fest who got the evening off to spend some time watching with them, and stood reasonably near the second barrier and the crowd were certainly not into it. The rain didnt help of course but still On Saturday I saw Subways, who were great in the FR tent with loads of energy and a really up for it crowd, then a bit of The Cure who I thought were incredibly boring. I like them but it was all so flat Kasabian on Sunday - good at some points bad at others- LSF, Empire etc were good despite the LSF singalong being pretty poor, Fire was great of course and the Beatles bit and how humble Tom seemed was good especially compared to other times I've seen them. But then there was a lot of quite boring stuff there as well - a definite half hour lull before Club Foot. Also, quite a few idiots around me chanting football songs etc during songs and generally annoying everyone around!
edfirth
I thought the Foos atmosphere was pretty good. Not carnage like Rage but everyone seemed to be singing along, and I was pretty far back
