  We’ve always tried to get as close as possible to the front of the other stage. Further back and it does get souless., folk passing through, food outlets, groups of folk chatting etc are distractions, much worse than all the other main stages.

  I am not sure I could carry or afford a black out tent which would be darker and keep me cool so i went for the alternative.... I slept naked and closed my eyes
