Did anyone else notice the complete lack of enforcement of the smoking ban in both the Undercover and Arena tents this year?

Everytime I ventured into one or other tent there were people openly lighting up, often right in front of security, with no effort made to stop them at all - a marked contrast to previous years!

As someone who can't stand smoking, I certainly didn't approve of this - especially when it was so hot and dry and the floor covered in rubbish. Surely a fire risk!

But what did other people think??

I've been for the last 6 years and I've never known them to enforce the "no smoking" in the tent. I'm a smoker so it doesn't bother me (in saying that, I'm not one who does it) but my boyfriend isn't and he hates it (rightfully so). He's also got a cigarette burn on his back from V about 3 years ago where a woman was so drunk she just fell in to his back in the tent and burnt him.

Happens at every festival, very difficult to enforce.
