Hello, Coming along to EOTR for first time this year with 3 kids (14, 11 and 5). Any top tips really welcome, and answers to questions such as;

will it be sunny?!

will there be plenty of room to pitch a 5m bell tent on the Friday?

What essential equipment do we need (other than toilet paper, torches etc)

when does everyone leave?

what are the loos like?

thank you, much appreciated!

Hi Teasel,

I'm taking my 8 year old daughter...as well as the usual, I'll be taking:

*shower stuff - the showers at EOTR are top notch.

*clothes and extra bedding for the evening - there are mentions to the micorclimate elsewhere on this forum , in short it gets bloody cold at night! fleeces, blankets, duvets etc required for the tiny (and not-so-tiny) ones

*kids size earplugs..maybe if you wish to get down the front for some of thelouder bands, and last year the family camping was quite close to the main stage, strangely enough. my daughter slept through Mogwai's set far better than I did (so maybe I need the earplugs)

if anything else pops to mind I'll let you know

Ben
