What's everyone think to the new R/L logo, according to the website it'l be used for all R/L branding next year leaving the old

logo we've had since 97? It fit in nicely with the new main stage and apparently will spread to other stages in years to coming to modernize R/L.

Is change good?

Don't like the new logo at all. As someone said it seems a shame to change from the old one, when it was starting to become iconic, to such a bland new design.

Was disappointed by the red stage as well, but got use to it towards the end.

Also, what happened to the new screens we were promised for the main stage? looked pretty similar to the old ones to me.

I'm fine with the new logo - I've always associated the old one with Carling as much as with Reading, so I think it's good they've moved away from that.

I wasn't so impressed with the new stage though. I know the old one was a little smaller, but the curved surround made it look very distinctive and it had a bit of character. The new one just looks like stages used at other big gigs and festivals.

I was at Reading this year and thought the new stage was much higher and felt a lot more open. I loved the logo and the red front of the stage. I looked at the Leeds yellow one and thought it was too bright and was a bit too of a sick type colour. I love the new logos though and a good move!! Hopefully a new era for Reading and Leeds and a successful one!
