Saw Rachel Sermanni in the Club Tent at the Cambridge Folk Festival (was waiting for Lera Lynn who was next on). I thought she was a bit dull apart from when The Staves joined on backing vocals.

Unconnected, I fully expect to see the Allah-Las at EOTR next year. A natch for the big top.

I saw Calexico at the forum last month, while not as great a setting as the Garden Stage (08 one of my fav nites ever) they were excellent. RL I agree Breathe Owl Breathe, but I doubt that anyone is listening...get on with the ironing

We must be close to an announcement - looking up above, the first announcement last year was 8 December, and that was a big-sized one.

Some other festivals starting to make their first announcements....anticipation building....
