Flyover (and meteor!)

Don't think it's been mentioned before, but does anyone know what prompted the red arrow type formation flyover complete with Union Jack smoke plumes directly over the Garden stage on Saturday....?

Also, did anyone see the amazing shooting star/meteor around 1am Thursday/Friday am - it looked more like a rocket! Admittedly refreshments had been taken but i did get independent corroboration (well, my mate who was also a bit mellow) so am sure we didn't hallucinate!

They were performing at the Bournemouth Airshow over the weekend and probably did a fly past over the Steam Fair and the festival

Staffop the Red Arrows were an amazing site but nothing compared with the 'Meteor' which I watched clear as anything from my tent looking east over the site! I couldn't quite believe what I had seen ( we had only arrived late that night and only had had a couple from Cider Bus!). It was too large for a shooting star and it travelled some distance!

Saw the Red Arrows, smoke on and in formation, so just finishing a flypast for the Steam Festival perhaps?

Might the 'meteor' have been the space station, that can be quite impressive at times.

When I read the title of this thread I assumed it was going to be another one of those bands that I read about on here for about 2 years before actually hearing in real life.

I expect Flyover (and Meteor!) to be playing in the Tipi some time around 2015.
