you dont need one.

if you have gold, you can retrieve your profile and saves from the cloud (if you have enabled cloud saving - if not do so) and once on the new drive, you can redownload any in game purchases or arcade games again from the store for free.

failing that, a 4gb thumb drive can be used to transfer anything else.

You should try RE Revelations, it has everything that made the orginal games great but with similar controls to the new ones. IMO it's eaily better than RE 4-6.

Downloaded Virtua Fighter 5 Final showdown about 30 minutes ago.

Now i've got 320 gamerpoints. Including 60 for just entering the training mode.

Game is really good though, I havent played any Virtua Fighter in about 13 years, which would've been VF2 on the Saturn. Still basically the same game.

I bought Virtua Fighter 5 on PS3 for £4 the other week, haven't tried it yet, I too had VF2 on the Saturn and played it to death and it was the last one I had [although I prefered Fighting Vipers I think]

I ordered Borderlands and Dead Island both GOTY editions the other day [dunno if I mentioned it] both look like they're gunna be great games to play through.

RE: Resi 6, whats so bad with it? The footage I saw looked ok with Leon going down the escalator at the president estate, but didn't like the look of the footage in China jumping across rooftops etc.

I really loved 4 on the Gamecube, but didn't like 5 at all.

I finally have a shiny new Xbox. Its one of the new slim ones and is so much quieter than the old ones! If you install the game to the hard disk it is virtually silent.

Loving getting back in to Mass Effect 3 again. I even fired up a bit of multiplayer as I had a spare 1 month gold code hanging around from when my account was hacked a while ago. Pretty good fun actually, though I don't see it having much longevity.

The first reviews for Dishonored are out and it is looking good. Thief, Deaus Ex and Bioshock all rolled into one. Sounds like my perfect game. I really can't wait for this, but I'm not getting it until I have finished ME3.
