Started playing Dishonored after getting my Live subscription sorted out.

Neat little game and I'll be giving it a full shot but OMFG is the Unreal engine the nastiest, jerkiest, ugliest game engine of this era or what?

Agree with this so much.

Oh and further to the discussion on the industry, what Konami did with MGS5 is a big of a dick move.

By the way everybody, Golden Abyss is really good for the Vita, utilises everything about the Vita without forcing you to used the new features.

Got Forza Horizon for a tenner, online sale.

One of the best tenners I've spent. Didn't really get on with Forza 2, no soul, no fun. Great physics and stuff but nothing to hold the interest (PGR had Kudos style points, camera traps, etc.).

Horizon has great racing, but also, erm, style points and camera traps and the like. Heh. They even acknowledge the PGR heritage with the "Kudos to you!" achievement when you earn a certain amount of style points.

Given the PGR team is defunct it's the closest I can get to a new version of the racing franchise I love the most.

It's been a while since I played it but I don't remember it looking that bad.

I've been on holiday, and finished Muramasa Rebirth and Stick It To The Man on the Vita. Both great games. I was completely addicted to Muramasa and managed to complete both stories 3 times to get all the endings, and finished all the Caves Of Evil too.

Stick It To The Man was like playing a classic point and click adventure crammed into a platform game. The writing was great too, though maybe the game was a little short. Not bad for £3 though (its on sale at the moment).

Playing Dragon's Crown now, which is Golden Axe crossed with an RPG. What's not to love?

Have been after this game for a while but heard same elsewhere. And the gameplay vids looks nasty.

I've a load of time off work coming up. Any good games out at the moment? Last one I got was Splinter Cell Blacklist I think.

Dishonoured is a great game. Its free on Xbox gold, so you may as well check it out.

One of my favourite moves I ever pulled was teleporting through a doorway into a room full of guards, slowing down time, then firing sleeping darts at them all. All without them managing to raise an alarm. Priceless.

It was free, that ended as of today. The current game is a bit indy arcade, but in a fortnight HALO REACH will be free.

For open-world games like RDR, but smaller and tighter, shorter but long enough, Sleeping Dogs is worth a shot.

Have you had a shot of South Park - The Stick of Truth? Or did you get through the Mass Effects? How about The Witcher 2?

For shooting with a heart, have you played Spec Ops The Line? Awesome.

A stunning game that'll suck you in, chew you up, spit you out, roll you up and smoke you... XCOM Enemy Within.

Sleeping Dogs was free on Gold a few months ago. I really enjoyed it, and actually completed it, which I have never done with a GTA game, so that must say something.

I have XCOM Enemy Unknown. It is a beast. One of the most tense games I have ever played, which is no mean feat for a turn based game. I really should get round to finishing it (I think I got pretty far in the campaign). I've not played Enemy Within, though it is just an expanded version of Enemy Unknown.

Leaving PS Plus:
3rd September: Road Not Taken
3rd September: FEZ
3rd September: Crysis 3
3rd September: Proteus
3rd September: Metrico
3rd September: LEGO Harry Potter 5-7 Years

Entering PS Plus:
3rd September: Velocity 2X
3rd September: Sportsfriends
3rd September: PlayStation Allstars Battle Royale
3rd September: Hoard
3rd September: TxK
3rd September: Joe Danger PS Vita

Also, Don't Starve is coming to the Vita today. And it's cross buy, so if you "purchased" the PS4 version when it was on PS plus a few months ago, you will get it free on the Vita :)

Has anyone played it? I think it looks quite interesting.

IIRC, on the PC it is a stand-alone expansion pack, on the consoles it is a merge of the Enemy Unknown content plus the expansion pack.

Been playing Velocity 2X over the weekend. Incredibly addictive stuff! I've managed to get a perfect score on the first 20 levels.

Didn't get on with TxK. Just seemed a bit soulless.

EDIT: oh and my copy of Danganronpa 2 arrived today :) The first one is on sale in the PS store. If you have a Vita I highly recommend it.
