I didn't have a problem with the ending. I only saw the "extended" version though. At the end of the day, Mass Effect was more about the journey than the destination.

I agree to a certain extent. The plot was pretty compelling throughout. I'm quite easily bored and it kept me hooked for three long games. It just seemed a shame that the ending involved one, pretty much random decision, disregarding all the decisions you made previously. It's completely at odds with the ethos of the rest of the series, which is why I found it so jarring. Edited October 22, 2014 by zero000

First one wasn't released on PS3 until last year, Apparently if you start ME2 it completely recaps ME1 due to this in a movie.

I can't be arsed buying anymore PS3 games now due to having a PS4 and I have about 20 PS3 games I haven't even started yet. LA Noire, ME2, ME3, Uncharted 3, Ridge Racer Unbounded, Heavy Rain, Beyond Two Souls, Dead Rising 2, Crysis 2 & 3 all spring to mind and I know theres a lot more, a hell of a lot more.

and I have Last of Us, Lollypop Chainsaw, Anarchy Reigns that I've barely touched, my backlog is huge.

ME2 is the best game in that list by a Fenland mile.

If you were starved of games I'd 100% recommend getting ME1 too, but given your stack of unplayed feel free to jump straight into ME2.

Yep, was playing ME2 last night and it is indeed bloody marvellous. ME2 is leaps and bounds ahead of ME1 in terms of both graphics and story.

I am at Omega at the moment which is one of my favourite destinations in any game. I love the cyberpunk feel of the place.

Not on the PS3 yeah I played it and thought it was great but the PS3 version was notoriously shit. I only remember the start of the game's cut scenes being long the rest was fine.

Finished Telltale's The Walking Dead on my vita yesterday on the bus back from London. Really good point and click game, makes every decision feel massive.

I've always been intrigued by these but have never tried them. Does being into the TV series/Comics help at all or is it a totally seperate thing. I've only seen the first series of the walking dead and wasn't really impressed.

You can play it without being into the graphic novel or show. It uses some characters from the GN but not to a point that it becomes vital for you to know their backgroud. More of a cool fan service than anything.

Bought season 2..... its not great. Only stratched the surface so far but it doesn't draw you in, you play as Clem and she's just so limited, its annoying how she's just a kid, I can see why they let you play on as Clem but I'd have prefered being an adult again.

It does seem daft that you play as a child and all the adults ask you to do dangerous stuff.

Well the Destiny expansion pack details have been announced, and its the final nail in the coffin for me. I'm trading it for Master Chief. The amount of content for £20 is a proper pisstake, and if I had paid for the season pass I would have been very miffed, as the second pack will obviously be equally as sparse. A game with so little content is not worth £70+

Ive had some fun, but I've also been very very bored with the grind, and pissed off with the RNG rewards. I'm out.

Doesn't work in firefox though. I was watching the Uncharted video thinking, "this doesn't look anything special". Then I tried it in IE, and it looked so much better.

I watched some Titanfall and BF4 footage and it looked great, works alot better than I thought it would. I wonder if you can upload straight from PS4 in 60fps? that'd be ace.
