Been playing Far Cry 4 solidly over the past few days. Absolutely loving it! Runs really well on the 360, and its amazing when you think that the hardware is now nearly 10 years old.

The missions in the Himalayas are particularly fun. Defending an outpost with a buzz-copter and a grenade launcher is another particular highlight. I'm also become a bit of a demon with the bow and arrow, though I have now unlocked the crossbow which has replaced it in my loadout.

I did try and start a co-op session but I kept getting kicked back to the main menu. I presume it was down to those Lizard Squad twats. Quite annoying that it kicks you back to the menu every time there's a connection problem though.

Guys i'm debating, when is the best time to get a PS4... because i've been holding out since launch.

I keep going... what about now... then changing my mind just before purchasing.

there has been some unbelievably good deals on the last few weeks and PSPlus is adding big budget games now. I reckon you should be looking at getting one now.

Yeah as said there's been some good deals. I got a PS4 with The Last of Us Remastered and LittleBigPlanet 3 for £299.99, which is basically the price of a PS4 by itself.

As TIT said, though, there really aren't many games. The only ones I'm bothered about at the moment are FIFA 15 and The Last of Us Remastered, and that's just because I never bought them on PS3.

Finished TLOU the other week, one of the best games I've played in a long time, excellent story, really enjoyed playing it.

Got a loan of Watch Dogs (off a mate) to play through, got COD:AW (got it cheap) to piss about with, and got Destiny (which I played once and then didnt bother again) so will return to that perhaps.

Though what is taking my time the most just now is Plants v Zombies, love it for just a quick pick up and play game.. considering it was given away FOC it's brilliant.

Also got a few PSN+ games to look at, along with inFamous First Light coming this month...

Did any of you get the email from Nintendo about the ambassador edition of the new 3DS? A guy at my work ordered one yesterday and it arrived today. I wasn't expecting much but the addition of a second thumb stick is great and the 3D (which I couldn't get on with in the past) is much better and really sharp. I ordered one to replace my 2DS - excited for 3D Majora's Mask!

I got an email but I've already got my normal 3DS and the only exclusive thing on it is Xenoblade which I've already played so I don't see a need for it.

Strange, surely a minorish upgrade like that is something you sell to people who don't already have a 3DS? :P

Unless its a sort of semi prototype for the next version I guess.

It's not really a minor upgrade, it's able to run Xenoblade Chronicles which was a huge open world game and something I couldn't see any current handheld doing. A theory is Ninty is trying to phase out the 3DS with a new console without any one noticing like it did with the DS.

Ah I see....still seems a bit strange to only market towards people who already have a 3DS.

Mind pparently 400 quid gets you on ebay :P

It's being released early to loyal Nintendo fans first and then everyone else, they do stuff like that alot like early Smash Bros, Pokemon demos but it is Nintendo so fucks knows what their business strategy is.

Yeah, I saw how much they are going for on ebay. Why are people spending over £200 than it's face value when all the games that can use it's extra features haven't been released yet, strange.

there's a big scene collecting this stuff - see the recent PS4 20th anniversary edition. collectors and completionists will be throwing their money at it.

Any of you guys put the homebrew channel on a wii? Long time since i looked into doing it but want to put it on my sons ...what's the easiest way now with a usb loader?

Yeah I did. Funny, haven't turned on the Wii in ages but did the other day to play Tiger Woods. Can't find the hard drive with the N64 games on it! So have reverted to the PC. Need a control pad to play them though! Gahh.... Have one on order. Goldeneye here we come!

First time I did it was a few years ago and was tricky. Seems theres a much easier way now.

And an easy video here.

Also have a look at WiiMC which I used to network share, pre Raspberry Pi. Although the Wii struggles sometimes with big files and high res. Anything over 480p basically.
