The 3D is supposed to work better, as it uses head tracking.

There's a new "C-stick" on the right of the controller... it looks like one of those nub controllers you used to get on laptops years ago.

Some games will only work with the "new" version. At the moment Xenoblade Chronicles is the only one.

I am torn between picking up an old one for cheap, or just plumping for the new model. Also, I now have a couple of weeks old baby, so not sure how much use I am going to get out of it. I am on the train for an hour every day though.

I basically just want to play the 3 Zelda games on it (I am determined to finish Ocarina one day!), but if they release another one in the future that only works with the new model, I would be a bit gutted if I only had the old version.

I'm half considering a Wii u but only for certain games so i duno if i can justify it. Might wait until the system is rather old.

I'm annoyed my copy of MM didn't come in the post today as I had planned to stay in tonight to play it but it looks like it'll be here tomorrow now when I can't plau as I've got to spend the day with my girlfriend doing romantic crap for Valentine’s day.

You won't find one for anywhere near that price now, they sold out pretty quick as tesco were just getting rid of their stock, shopto also had them at £119.

I was looking at getting a one too but missed out, I'm going to wait for an official price drop which may come in April

I prefer the Wii U's library myself, the 3DS Mario platformers are poor for Mario standards but Fire Emblem Awakening is fucking great.

I've also been very tempted with a 3DS just for the Zelda remakes. Reminds me, I have the Zelda collection on gamecube so may have to go on Majora's mask again this weekend.

I had the Gamecube Zelda collection as well but I sold it last year when I saw it was going for £50 on ebay, I also sold the GC version Twilight Princess for £60 and Wind Waker for £40 which I then used the money to get my Wii U.

After starting and playing pretty much all day yesterday, I'm now at the Forest Temple in Ocarina of Time. Can't remember how many times I've played this game through!

I only ever played a few hours of Majora's Mask. May do that next.

Christ you ripped some people off for them! Apart from GC Twilight Princess, that is pretty rare. The other two were easy to find, I sold or gave away my entire Gamecube collection couple years ago. Got a Vita with the money.

I just threw them up on Ebay but I doubt that they were that easy to find as I did a sold listing search at the time and previous ones sold for more than what my ones eventually went for.

You should give MM a try, the only problem it has is that it isn't trying to be OOT 2 but rather it's own thing. I was it playing yesterday and I forgotten how many side quests there are in it.

I spent yesterday playing Minish Cap on an emulator instead. Its a shame you can't plug old DS cartridges into the 3DS, otherwise I would have snapped up an old copy.

I ragequit Elite:Dangerous yesterday. Never playing the fucker again.

After nearly 3 months of progression I'd turned my initial 100 credits into 11million in assets. Went to leave a space station, was suddenly declared wanted and destroyed, with no way to buy back (there's usually an insurance option) and that's it. Apparently I have to start again from scratch and the idea of grinding for several months just to reach the stage I had is too much too consider. The first time that a game has made me genuinely angry, totally ruined my day.

Loving it so far. Haven't even made it out of Clock Town yet! I have managed to get my Ocarina back though.

Annoyingly, Nintendo forgot to send a charger with my New 3DS even though the description of the bundle clearly stated that it came with one It has a full charge so I've been able to play it last night and on the train this morning, though I'm not sure how long its going to take them to respond to my email and send me a charger.
