Bloody awesome from Marvel! They know how to get people excited! The Infinity War montage and extra scenes were just fantastic to!

In some ways though bit gutted they didn't wait until after Age of Ultron to announce everything as now we know Iron Man, Thor and Captain America (Well we knew Captain America would :P) survive.

Civil War will be more "inspired" by the comic book rather than following it closely I think, doubt there is much point in speculating until we see how Age of Ultron sets it up but I do doubt, just cause of how Iron Man is portrayed in the Movies that his suddenly going go back to being pro government and all for registration.

He wasn't portayed as pro-goverment in the comics, it was more about preventing super powered being from wrecking things up. The story before Civil War had Iron Man fighting against a similar act but then a rookie super-team caused a huge accident which made him change his tune, then after Civil War he changes his mind yet again which actually does sound like the Downey version of him.

They won't follow the narrative of Civil War too literally... or the boyscout will end up brown bread.

does this make my first editions of Civil War worth anything?

...and back to films - for those who have Film4 'Beasts of the Southern Wild' is on tonight at 9pm.

Had a bit of a movie marathon this weekend...

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, utter shit. Was really looking forward to it and it just did nothing.Typical Michael Bay movie.

Gone Girl, really liked it.Affleck was good but overshadowed by Pike.Great plot.

Life After Beth, zombie movie with a twist which was really well done with some great characters.Big success.

A Long Way Down,British comedy of sorts set against the back drop of 4 random people wanting to kill themselves. Really enjoyed it.

Guardians of the Galaxy, lasted half hour and had to turn off.Utter garbage.Utter, utter garbage.

All of these films paled into comparison against The Judge.Fantastic story well told with some great performances that made it a joy to watch.Could recommend it highly enough.

About to watch the new Brad Pitt one,Fury.

I loved Guardians of the Galaxy. So glad I eventually went to catch it at the IMAX instead of listening to the haters. Great sets, great humour, great antagonists, great protagonists, colourful, weird.

"His race doesn't get metaphor. Comments go right above his head."

'Nothing can get above my head, my reflexes are too quick - I would catch it'

>>Oh god I'm gonna die with the stoopidest guys in the galaxy...<<

Amy Pond was beautiful and terrifying. Didn't recognise her during the film, heavy prosthetics, but reading the credits it was instantly "of course". And mining the Celestial was both weird and innovative and more than a little sad.

And if you're doing time, do it with someone who says he is Groot.

I think because it's widely loved those that dislike it have been a bit louder than usual because they feel they have more positive noises to try and overcome.

I don't have any axe to grind, was just giving my opinion.I gave it a try due to the love for it I'd seen but knew it wasn't really my type of film which I have been forthcoming with on here already.Just wasn't for me and did not hold my attention at all.

I haven't seen it and don't plan to make any effort to. I've just seen a fair few people irked at how loved it is when they see it as fairly mediocre.
