Evening Oneeye. Happy bunny today as just had a 100 watt solar panel fitted to the caravan to keep the leisure battery topped up and power the lighting and the pump for the shower. Just two weeks to first try out at Wychwood and the start of my festival season.

Blimmin marvellous stuff there grumps; envious. I'm still at the age/stage of slumming in a tent :)

I'm making the most of this evening as I have an over nighter tomorrow night, that four letter word you mentioned lol.

The link is MEN; reminds me of some good times in my adolescent youth :)

Wish I could play the flute.......

From Men I'll go to Woman

This a great performance by Richie Havens going from Tupelo Honey into Dylan's Just like a Woman

For Oneeye I was going to have four men playing flute but realised that I'm probably more at home on the Swanee whistle or kazoo. A classic radio clip from I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue, from the days of Humph.

If something has been turned it's usually turned by a Turner

This is one of my favourite live performances. Two people at the top of their game.

All Around My Hat

Ade Edmundson and the Bad Shepherds are a great fun band really worth catching. They do punk versions of folk songs and folk versions of punk songs - and are very good musicians.

A 'proper' version of All Around My Hat.

I did think about the Stones and Around and Around but settled for The Beach Boys and I Get Around.

Couldn't find a clip of Brian Wilson's excellent Glasto set but hopefully this will do.

That track In my all time favourite list, still have issues with not being able to get near the JP tent last time they played!

Just an image on this link to match nicely the word Dunes, Kaya Project put out some nice tunes. Take your pick, Shifting or Sands

Before they went all treacle and dropped the Transit Authority this lot were quite a rocky band.

I think as Chicago they're just launching their 36th album.

But let's stick to the original so follow with either Transit or Authotity

Parallel from the album Overpowered.

Roisin a highlight 2008 Glastonbury. If only I could have put her stage presence in a bottle to keep!

Something live.

Arghh, beat by Grumpy, never mind.

^^ Made me think of nose and found this. Only a track but couldn't resist posting for the album & track name alone. Finally figured why I have that track, because of the track Transfusion.

So from the The grand father of Psychobilly.

From the Album - Stone Age Woo: The Zorch Sounds Of Nervous Norvus - Boris the Blue Nosed Baboon.

The Nashville Teens

Not quite one hit wonders (they had three other minor hits). Good jobbing sixties band originally from Weybridge in Surrey who ended up working as the backing band on tours by people like Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Chuck Berry

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3AWbZcLpGw

So follow on from Nashville
