grumpyhack
In Cardiff we have a circus company called the No Fit State Circus which has performed at Glastonbury from time to time. The son of one of my festival going friends is a performer with them. So the link word is Circus and a bit of music from the Arctics http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NbatsIbvwtE
carlosj
I think Erasure had the album Circus, and this track on it, so the link is LITTLE (forecasting a blues singer next?) Erasure - A Little Respect:

grumpyhack
It must be the meandering sort of mood I'm in tonight. But Milton made me think of Milton Keynes. And John Maynard Keynes was a big name economist. The other big name economist, from the second half of the 20th century was Milton Friedman (a influential free marketeer and not to everyone's taste). And that let me to Dean Friedman (no relation as far as I'm aware) who had a minor hit with Lucky Stars - so pick either word. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-k3hjvMGuU

whisty
Always had a soft spot for The Ruts. Maybe this was done already but always like hearing this track from the album. Seventeen Seconds - A Forest (on speed) Not a Cure fan per se and have no idea why I like this track but these 2 are the ones I turn to every time. grumpyhack
Can I cheat and slip in another 17? Great song by Janis Ian. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VMUz2TNMvL0 But to follow on from Seconds..... Boxing matches used to begin with the words "Seconds out". Last night I was watching a repeat of Top Gear on Dave and they had Alice Cooper as the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car. It reminded me of this so the follow on word is Out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XbNEOJMGFAo

carlosj
Morning all, I think I've posted Milk and Alcohol by Dr Feelgood, so I'll go for Robert Johnson this time. I'll take the link to MALT http://youtu.be/HN-xtjDD9vo I've not been posting for a bit, and I probably won't again here until next week, as my normal phone's not working and I've got a brick instead, and the work browser won't post links correctly (IE8). So, in the meantime, have a cracking weekend, and see you next week. whisty, I'm missing some of the silver service for the van, but we're giving it a run out this weekend, so I'll get the butler to clean out the jacuzzi too. Hi Carlos, you pipped me to posting Beck Milk & Honey,oh well! Fixed link for you. Have a nice trial run, van's sounding like somewhere I'd like to stay for the whole weekend now, jut one thing, I prefer a maid to a butler Anyway, malt is sweet so I can still use Honey. grumpyhack
Doh beaten by Whisty again (the story of my life). I was going to post Whiskey in the Jar by - two versions by Thin Lizzy and the Metallica version to see what we might be in for this year. But never mind you can hunt that out yourself if you're fussed. Instead let's have Marvyn Gaye's take on a Taste of Honey http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-IpBlMQbgEY

grumpyhack
Slightly differently spelled Wynton but someone else who's no slouch. You might want to skip the three minutes of waffle from Clapton at the start. So the link word is Marsalis http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RvNIivHdy0Q
whisty
Nearest I can get is Marsala Curry. Guy Davis album Skunkmello has a track Fonza Curry, can't find that so this one will have to do
