The one benefit being that most of the general public don’t really give a sh*t about Neil Young so the expectations for a replacement won’t be completely unmeetable. Different story if it had been Liv messing about like this. -

Green Day a headliner that 'wows' people? It's all very personal I guess but I think it's a pretty average band. -
I really can't see Charli XCX being the first name they call up, especially after SZA gate last year. Sure, huge surge in popularity this year, but only for a very niche demographic. Would be a desperate last ditch move if she's booked as a headliner IMO and this is coming from a fan. Sure, it will be a fun set, full of energy and enjoyable for those who are into it. Amongst casuals and the standard Glasto goer, I think they'd be relatively dis-interested (making a sweeping stereotype here, but don't think I'm miles off). I feel a little sorry for Glasto here actually, under the microscope this year more than other years I feel. Just been publicly insulted by a headliner they were talking to, and now got circa 2 months to book someone else, with the expectation from ticket holders and press being an A lister. Real naff position to be in imo. -

I liked it too, and it was great on their tour, but I'd hope they would keep it to a minimum for a Glastonbury headline set -
