LakeFest 2013

Hey e-festers!

First of all and on behalf of the LakeFest team we want to thank each and every one of you that supported or attended our first proper ‘LakeFest’ festival. It took a lot of effort to put on an event of this size so we were super chuffed with the results. During the initial planning stages of LakeFest, we all agreed that we wanted to create something special, ‘a festival of years gone by’ shall we say and not turn into ‘just another festival’. Well we think we achieved that in bucket loads and we haven’t had one report where somebody left feeling disappointed. People make a festival and you guys were the heart, the spirit and the vibe! Don’t take our word for it though, here are some comments from fellow LakeFesters:-

“What an awesome weekender , really big heartfelt shout to all those behind the scenes and those more visible folk in the hi viz’s , all the effort paid off, thanks for restoring my faith in little festivals . Roll on 2013, big love” – James Rood

“Amazing weekend you can keep V, Leeds and Reading lakefest is the future can’t wait for the next one!” – Sara Fraser

“Great weekend, chesney rocked! Reef awesome! Just the right amount of people…… Like a festival of old :-) great atmosphere, everyone happy and smiling, always a good sign! Well done Lakefest, best festival I’ve been to in a loooong time xxx” – Catriona Telfer

“This is the friendliest festival i’ve ever worked at.” – Gwain (Head of Security @ lakefest)

Well as the main festival season for 2012 draws near, our thoughts have already turned to 2013. Our first big news is that we have moved to August. (Whys that then?) Well, as some of you may know Croft Farm is a normal camping and caravanning site when its not being invaded by thousands of festival-goers. As well as this we are an activity centre for school groups and the amount of bookings we have for 2013 made it impossible to squeeze in a two day festival let alone a three day festival. Moving to August will give us a lot more freedom and allow us to deliver an ever better festival than LakeFest 2012. So our dates for LakeFest 2013 are……

August

Friday 9th

Saturday 10th

Sunday 11th

Three days of music and three nights of camping!

Earlybird Special Offer!!!

There will only be two festival ticket types available “Adult Weekender “ (16+) and “Family Weekender”. Family ticket is for two adults and up to two children aged 15 or under. For larger families, additional child tickets will be available after the Earlybird period.
