Good topic, if we are having to be realistic and choose for V Festival 2013 then it has to be more generic rubbish than what I would have, but keeping to a budget too, and baring in mind the main stage only has 8 acts each day...

SATURDAY

COLDPLAY - will be 10 years since they last played.

STEREOPHONICS/MUMFORD AND SONS - depends if Mumford wont demand headliner status.

JESSIE J - not my choice, but she will be at V next year, and sell the tickets.

YOU ME AT SIX - popular with the girls.

PAOLO NUTINI - great sing-a-long during the day!

*

CROWDED HOUSE - always seem to get an older act earlier in the day.

FEEDER - perfect for opening a festival.

SUNDAY

MUSE - too soon for other festivals?

ELBOW - perfect for a Sunday sing-a-long.

THE VACCINES - got to finally play V.

BRUNO MARS - okay, he was decent in 2010, and will sell tickets.

MADNESS - had them last year, but the perfect festival act.

PALOMA FAITH - always a female act on the main stage.

THE FEELING - the pop act.

PULLED APART BY HORSES - a great start to the Sunday!

Okay, I am tired a couple of slots on the Saturday I give up on..

But notable acts that I would also book for other stages - ENTER SHIKARI (About time they was at V), TWO DOOR CINEMA CLUB, THE COURTEENERS, FOSTER THE PEOPLE, JAKE BUGG.

Not the best but would have variety and share of rock and indie and pop (obviously I'm in to the later) with some DJs, Country and other genres in there too

Yes there's x factor a lot there (JLS, Rebecca, Joe and Will) but there was Cher, Olly and Aiden this year xD and they all fit in
