I expect this is mentioned somewhere on the site, but i couldn't find it, and I know this will make it very obvious that I'm a bit useless with computers, but how do you add a video (from YouTube etc) onto a post? I've tried a couple of times, but have only been able to add a link, rather than the actual video appearing on the thread.

1. go to the YouTube page for the particular clip you wish to embed here.

2. click on the 'share' button below the clip.

3. copy the link that gets displayed as a result of clicking the 'share' button.

4. paste that link into the post you're making.

5. post your post.

5. sorted.
