How did Todays announcement make you feel?

I personally thought it was ridiculous. 5 acts- not any being a headliner doesn't persuade people to buy tickets...

It was completely unnecessary really. Not sure what the point if this announcement was.

I've talked to my friends about this and I think it was just to promote the fact there were new stages; however I think a more sensible approach would've been just to announce bands on the new stages instead of underwhelming acts on NME and main (although I adore Deftones I understand that it isn't particularly exciting for them to be there.)

As much as I like Alt-J, I think headlining the NME tent is a big ask for such a new band. Deftones on the main stage is pretty decent, I'd see them if no one particularly important was playing, couldn't care less about the other two acts.

sorry, i got confused with the 'hip hop super group' though in saying that it would be 7acts playing...

anyway. anyone notice this:

Real Ale at reading?? are kids these days starting to appreciate popper beer (and i when i mean proper i refer to the fact many people consider Larger to be beer...)\

also i have a sneak suspicion it will be shit and overpriced...
