I have no idea what the "Mein zelt steht schon" is like as we always take our own tents and I therefore have ignored it. I could imagine that it will save you a lot of time as you don't have to prop up your tent and of course a little bit of weight. I'd say go for it if it's affordable. I would if I was flying and having to take shuttle buses and all, will definitely take a bit of stress off your shoulders...

that's the last thing you'll need to worry seriously. I can understand your doubts or thoughts but anyone who even thinks about maybe even only thinking about being the slightest racist at a German festival will be thrown out by the crowd themselves so if someone is an a-hole to you, you'll have around 50,000 people behind you and that person will have quite a hard time...I'm not kidding, he/she will not be popular. the security team will also be helpful.

Furthermore: you'll be able to just hang on anybody really. just go up to a group or your neighbours and start talking, they'll be happy to meet someone from abroad be it from the US, South America, Australia, etc.

The festival is everything but rough, I have never seen anyone fight or whatever...I think one girl I met was really pissed at her boyfriend once but that was it
