Dehydrated meals? All you need is a little boiling water. Pot noodles and the like. Some of the ones from camping shops are actually quite nutritious.

I was just going to suggest cereal, kelloggs have started doing pouches of cereal with 3 portions in which seem perfect for festivals. Only £1 each so already bought a couple to add to my Glasto supplies.

Pot Noodles are nutritious, my favorite flavour, Chicken & Mushroom flavour has sweetcorn in it and mushrooms too. That's 2 of my 5 a day.

Probably no better for you, but a bit of a change, are the Japanese noodle bowls you can get in oriental supermarkets. I took some vacuum packed udon noodles to a festival a couple of years ago - slightly heavier as they weren't dried, but really nice.

the farm has a truck selling fresh milk, juice and some other stuff, that goes through the camp fields every morning

I never bring food to Glasto, ever. This year I am determined to be more organised (I say this every year ) Assorted nuts and seeds always strike me as a decent idea tbh, along with oranges, apples and dried fruits of assorted variety. fruit juice for the mornings I am definitely taking this year, so thirst quenching!

If we are going down the Ambrosia route (that sounds wrong) then I would thoroughly recommend tinned peaches in syrup and tinned custard

Pot Noodle's are great. I have no doubt that if a Brit had come up with the idea for the film 'American Pie' first it would have been called 'Pot Noodle'. They're not nutritious though.

Those sweetcorns are magic bullets, they are the only food I know which come out of the longdrops end looking exactly the same as when they went in the other end (mouth that is)

Curiously, I don't mind cold custard and you can get it in cardboard tetrapaks to keep the weight down. Or there's the M&S Vanilla custard in a plastic pot - won't last long out of the fridge, but once the munchies kick in it wouldn't last long anyway.

Custard is better for pervy sex games too. Though best before the Friday, as cheese flavoured custard is nobody's favourite. Especially considering just what sort of cheese it would be.

I appreciate that this thread is about things that don't need cooking but .....

A tiny camping stove doesn't add a lot of bulk to what you take and then suddenly all sorts of possibilities open up.

Apart from heating water for tea, coffee and to wash there's an awful lot you can do on a one burner stove that may be more heating up than cooking.
