Who is the 3rd headliner likely to be?

That's my favourite album too, although its probably because its the only one that came out whilst I was alive I was subject to a lot of Rage, Nirvana etc when I grew up, which I'm pretty thankful for now haha In terms of RHCP I've only heard Blood Sugar Sex Magik, Californication and By The Way. I don't really know what other records they have

Yeah rage knew they were splitting so said they would play lower down as they wanted to still play. Previous to that they had already headlined...

I'd say Rage are bigger now than they ever were. The whole christmas number 1 thing has boosted their popularity a fuckload. Sure you could say "people who wanted to see them got to see them for free at Finsbury" but not everybody did, I think it was something like 300'000 people tried to get tickets when there was only around 40000 available. They would be an incredibly strong headliner imo and would sell more tickets than Biffy/The Cure/Kasabian

Remember how long ago the Christmas number one thing was (three years ago). Since their reunion, they've played r&l, download and a big free show.

I sincerely doubt they'd be a major ticket seller off their reunion alone anymore. Maybe if news came out that they had new material or the like, but I doubt it if not.

I mean touring wise, blur have done the festivals and will still sell well. Theres no proof or concrete evidence that ratm could not do the same.
