Being the pessimist that I am (27 years as a West Ham fan means I always expect the worst). I think it will be Prodigy.

I don't get it, in my opinion, SOAD are a better choice for headliner than Prodigy. They are just awful "live", might as well just play their music in between sets if they have to have a presence at all, because "Prodigy live" could be recreated by any cretin with a CD player and a couple of loud twats shouting over the top of the music.

Yet Eminem gets shit for being a bad booking for doing the exact same thing.

Can't see this mentioned anywhere...

Basically, interview with System of a down drummer in Kerrang this week says the final headliner was what persudaed them to play Reading this year, and it's a band they played with years ago.

So, I think it's Black Sabbath or ( Unlikely IMO) Metallica.

Are we ruling Blur out yet? I mean the clue we were given was pretty vague. IMO Blur would be the perfect last headliner.

Like others have mentioned on this forum, the average RNL festival fan will not be excited about Sabbath or the Prodigy! So far the line up looks pants compared to last years.

There's also a shift in opinion of people that liked them from the Californication generation, when I was a teenager they were one of those bands everyone liked now people the same age as me have no intrest in them even fans of them like you didn't go to their show which shows the level of excitement they now generate.
