Who is the 3rd headliner likely to be?

People will die.

I might be over estimating them a bit but I'm pretty sure Nine Inch Nails have a massive following* and so putting them up against the smallest headliner (well probably smallest) would be pretty silly

*I'm thinking they have around the same size fanbase as The Cure

So when you quote me your post isn't directed at me?

I never said AC/DC would be a good booking.

Are you really complaining that someone on a forum is critiquing someone else's response?

You said Green Day would be a good booking, to which I said it's debatable based on recent performances of unstable band members, recent material/populairty based on flopped and non-sold out shows to which your repsonse was you like their classic songs...

NIN have a wide range of songs, and for a good mix i'd say listen to;

Closer - seedy sex dungeon music

March Of The Pigs - just how mental they can sound

Head Like A Hole - Their earlier sound. Massive song.

Every Day is Exactly The Same - Kind of more chilled song of theirs.

Hurt - The Ballad.

The Beginning Of The End - Got me into them, might do you

All of a range of their albums too.

It's aimed at your comments, but some things I mention are more general statements, ie, many people thought 2009s headliners were great. I never said you did. I was comparing 2 very different kinds of headliner bookings, established rock bands, and newer bands doing it of a back on an album.

Jesus, so not even ACDC are a good booking. good thing you're not a festival booker, it would be fucked! Seriously out of curiosity, who would be a good final headliner in your terms?

And no I'm not critiquing, I'm enjoying this, and I actually do agree with you on many things. I agree Green Day have had a dip, sure, but I'm also adding that now Billies out of rehab, they could get back on form and still do a killer show. It's their status which makes them a good booking IN MY OPINION. If thats not yours cool, but I'm genuinely interested on what makes a good booking for you.

My bad, I didn't realise you aimed comments at me weren't actually directed at me. I'll make a note of this for future reference.

I haven't commented on AC/DC being a good or a bad booking. I know Green Day being a good booking is your opinion, I disagreed with your opinion and gave reasons and you then started going on about how it's your opinion rather than debate the actual issues I raised.

Can I please check if your aimed question of what would be a good booking is directed at me or not?
