adam1234
As I've had to have vegetarianism vs. meat-eating arguments a million times over, can I point out that the "it's natural, food chain, animals do it" argument is the biggest pile of bollocks I've ever heard. Animals also rape each other, kill their parents, commit carnivorous acts, eat their own shit, throw shit at people, sniff each other's arses etc. Animals doing it doesn't make it perfectly legitimate. How about just accepting that you eat meat because you enjoy it, and while you're presumably aware of the ethical issues, you feel that they're either inconsequential or not worth giving it up for, or are simply unable/unwilling to give up. Duw13
Er no, you can choose to walk away from any argument, certainly ones about things like this, and always ones on the internet.

foolee
Not sure if this has been mentioned but does anyone think the last headliner could be The Who? I know it seems really really unlikely but surely SOAD would respect them above them. What also comes to mind is the picture that SOAD posted on that facebook page, not saying that this could be reading, as it isn't but I have a feeling it could be the new Rock n Heim. With it being a week before it could make it possible... Obviously a long shot and alot of if's but thought i'd bring it back up!

kev1664
They're playing the 02 in June for their quadrophenia tour so take that as you will...i think the poster is the only small hint at them playing, so really i think the only reason people are clutching at the possibilty is because of there being no obvious headliner. Like you said, it's a long shot. Can't see it happening myself at all.
Muppetmark
The Who would be the single most amazing headliner that is in europe this summer, i dont believe they will but i would love them to be there.
Com Truise
I won't rest until I know what that SOAD/Biffy/Who poster actually is, even though it almost definitely isn't reading

rivalschools.price
Except he has every right at his own gigs to ask for them to be meat free. People either chose to go knowing this fact or they don't, he still sells out shows all over the world so it clearly isn't doing him much harm. He doesn't ask for festivals to be meat free & as such compromises his views. I fail to see your point to be honest.
kev1664
I understand that festivals sell meat but what is a meat free gig? Most gigs i go to dont sell meat anyway. The only thing you can buy at most gigs is beer and t-shirts.
foolee
I just say this as an option as that 3rd headliner spot is still open. The Who would be a big coupe no matter the dates in the summer, Green Day also do but they seem likely at the moment, new booker, never say never right! It just seemed like the same kind of fit with having the cure last year, always seems to be that kind of older headliner each year!

foolee
The only bit of 'evidence' we have is the poster, which also has Buckcherry and Creed on it...The Who can't be ruled out and yes, it is still wide open. I just really cant see it, seems too good to be true for Reading. Love to be proved wrong though..
PDAD
It was just something to go by, I don't think that poster is R&L, in fact it's not. Not the style it'd have. But it could be Rock N Heim a week before reading which already has Biffy and SOAD from the poster announced. I just took it into account and thought they should still be in the equation, yes it does seem to be too good to be true but we don't really have much 'evidence' for any other headliner, so this should do, haha.
