in the past i would've said no way is it The Who, but after The Cure last year it may well could be. still seems unlikely though, i'd say. i doubt the majority of the R/L crowd would really go for The Who (plus SOAD into The Who seems bizarre in my head)

Long time watcher first time poster.

I would shit a brick if it was the who :)

Better IMO headliner than the aforementioned green day/rhcp/lp etc.

And if its a "greatest" hits set instead of quadrophenia, or even if it was quadrophenia it would sell a hell of alot of tickets/day tickets, more so than the rest mentioned. Again IMO

That's what people said about The Cure.

The people who bought tickets to them at their own gigs in the Summer aren't going to rush out and buy tickets to see them at R&L with a load of bands they haven't heard of surrounded by teenagers.

I think The Who would be a decent booking, but only if they could get them for cheap enough to get two big current headliners alongside them (like with The Cure last year). I'm assuming they'd be more expensive than The Cure though.

Not in a year when they're doing loads of summer shows either. Maybe next year.

SOAD into the Who doesn't make any sense anyway... surely if they were going to play they'd fill the day with "lad" type bands: the Courteeners, Miles Kane, Beady Eye, The Enemy, Ya know the sort of bands that think it's still 1965.
