I saw Floyd (well Gilmour's cock womble version) for more than that in 1990 and walked out halfway through - it was dire! Whereas I saw APF recently and really enjoyed it, almost as much as Water's doing DSOTM, - both were a perfect replay of the albums with the same visuals and a lot closer to see in the flesh, (rather than extended w*nky guitar solos) #justsayin

Seen RW doing DSOTM in Earls Court (2007?) and loved it, had seen him at HRC previous to that and it was a fantastic day.

Never bothered with DG, did have tickets for his Glasgow gig a few years back but couldn't make it, so punted them.

Off to see RW do The Wall in Dublin later this year, would rather pay more to see that than a fake version tbh.

I know you're going to defend it mate, but come on.. the same price as the amazing Sigur Ros that you have this year and look at past acts you have had, at least they are the real deal too.

What next? Rollin Stoned, Bootleg Beatles (who are brilliant too), etc?

Very much doubt this one will sell out, what capacity do you have for these gigs?

Oh well then, be as well getting them to headline the biggest event in the UK, APF for Glasto 2014 ;)

That's not what I was suggesting, just that they're able to sell a decent amount of tickets in normal circumstances, and them playing DSOTM at Jodell is likely to be a special enough thing to hook in a pretty decent number of people.

Paul Weller didn't sell out last year, and while I don't know what the sales are I wouldn't be surprised if Oz PF managed sales of around the same level and maybe even higher.

Possibly, although I still think it's overpriced as involves travel/accommodation for many too.

Hopefully the other announcements will be interesting enough for me to book one, am not doing Sigur Ros as will most likely still be at Reading then (plus seeing them in just over a week).

I do fancy doing a gig at Jodrell, but needs to be a decent name for me to fork out ticket/travel/accommodation which would be around £100 minimum from here.
