NiallP10
Can any more enlightened fans of biffy give a prediction on the more unknown songs that they may play? Obviously i don't expect much accuracy but i need to start delving into their earlier stuff,

thewayiam
it'll mean one of biffy's longe sets which given they are headlining it for the 1st time is a given. 1hour 45 max I'd expect. I don't actually expect more than an hour and a half, greatest hits set from the other albums with around 7/10 songs from the new double album chucked in. I'd be surprised, not disappointed mind if it included more. Though i think if the festival starts like last year giving some bands longer sets, even if its means cutting some crap out through the day it'd be better. Luke Routledge
Depends what yo mean by more unknown. They will probably play the following based on the gigs I've seen them; Glitter and trauma My recovery injection 57 Justboy There's no such thing as a jaggy snake Convex concave Get fucked stud Hero management Toys, toys, toys, choke, toys, toys, toys
Yellow_Fellow
We'll probably get Folding Stars. Would love to get Only One Word Comes To Mind.
dip
There's no way to predict the oldies, they bring back a very random selection.
jonodillieono
Questions and Answers or Joy.Discovery.Invention would be amazing and I've noticed they haven't been playing Saturday Superhouse lately either
kev1664
Last time I saw them they played Folding Stars as well.
Mouseboy11
Wasn't Saturday Superhouse the breakthrough hit?
Asdaprice
yeah saturday superhouse was the 1 that i remember seeing around quite abit 1st - pre Puzzle album. it was their 1st standard 3 so minute rock song that wasn't too quirky for biffy standards, at least not since any of the singles on blackened skye which for some reason i never knew before. Yellow_Fellow
Pretty sure Living Is A Problem was the breakthrough.
Asdaprice
fuck it I think you might be right.....either way. Biffy are awesome, and Folding Stars wasn't their breakthrough hit, although maybe 1st hit "ballad" of theirs. God I love Puzzle.
Mouseboy11
I was in Year 6 when Puzzle came out, Biffy were one of my first "proper" bands I liked. Apart from Muse
kev1664
I just remember folding stars getting more airplay than anything else. The rest that I posted before were pretty much non singles from puzzle and singles before that either way it's the same reason I didn't put Saturday super house or semi mental or livings a problem... Gucci Piggy
The Biffy song I heard was Who's Got A Match, but that's probably because it was the first single they released after I started properly following music.
sftiz
If they play 'The Go-slow' i will eat an arm.
Andre91
I hope they play the acoustic version of Folding Stars they played at Soni, and the one that is on their live album. It was pretty special at Soni, just Simon with his guitar, surrounded by a chandelier-esque set of lights.
Asdaprice
I just hope they play Spanish Radio. Its weird for me, because I usually love the proper 4 minute rock songs like MMF, BB&R and Saturday Superhouse the most - but Spanish Radio has somehow found its way in 1 of my all time faves. august1
might be like arcade fire/libertines where the undercard shift more day tickets
Yellow_Fellow
Really hoping, like, properly hoping Rolo Tomassi are on the Biffy undercard. Just for the slim realm of possibility of There's No Such Thing As Rolo Tomassi.
Asdaprice
About the whole arena tour selling out thing - a ) I think Biffy are gonna be alot more known and liked by August when more singles have come out b ) I dont know if more people are like me out there, but as soon as standing tickets have sold out for a gig for a band like Biffy, I dont consider going. I just dont like sitting if theres a crazy rock song on - and from my very brief look I think standing has sold out for the majority of the venues. But yeah, the bookers are always gonna say theres a strong undercard for the headliners, even if there isn't - its all personal taste. Say it was Paramore - you'd all say it was weak but others wouldnt. So I wouldnt say that guarentees System must play below them Edited February 9, 2013 by Asdaprice
