LondonTom
Maybe it was a test article from the BBC but they wern't allowed to use the stones incase as happened it got published early? (Sort of told the rest what was happening with the rest but not the stones? and they just copied in some old Bruce stuff?) Seems odd that Bruce would do it again with his own tour...mind its only one London date isn't it?

atomised
Still seems seriously odd. Don't know if the Wembley gigs even sold out

atomised
Weak pair of headliners I think. repeating a headliner for two years seems weird

Paul ™
Repeating a headliner (who is already doing a date a couple weeks before in London) is a horrendously lazy booking.

LondonTom
The Kasabian date is decent! Wish HRC and Wireless dates were the other way around! Bruce really is rather odd! Considering the denials before, I can't see it being their first choice at all! Edited March 5, 2013 by LondonTom
eFestivals
A fall back for the Rolling Stones?that's my guess, yep.I suspect that exactly the same has gone on with HRC as did Coachella, of the fest wanting - needing - to announce before the stones are ready to give their answer, so they've had to go and find another act.Bruce will have been an easy one for them to get, as his other shows are Live Nation, and with Wembley having sold out there's no impact elsewhere. Also, being Bruce fans, LN will know that almost all of the same people will buy the tix for the Olympic Park, so there's not too much of a risk of topping out on the potential audience. MaxMaz
I wouldn't be so sure. They pissed off a lot of people bigtime last year, and Bruce fans will already have bought tickets to see him elsewhere. There's a small nucleus of fans who will go to every single gig he does, but they won't fill the venue.
Damsonz
Sure, it's all LiveNation, and presumably they are responsible for everything. However this is branded as Hard Rock. They are the sponsors and I would imagine they are not best pleased, because it's their reputation that is associated with this debacle, not to mention last year's fiasco. They must be absolutely thrilled to see LN piss their brand credibility down the toilet.
mrtourette
Flippant and factitious reply incoming... Hard Rock hadn't had any brand credibility since the early 90's.
the wonderwhy
'I'm so pissed off Bruce Springsteen is playing in London two years in a row I'm never eating in a Hard Rock Cafe again' Said nobody, ever.
Damsonz
So why do you think Hard Rock sponsor these events? They must think there's some good publicity in it for them - or they did once. I've never set foot in any of their restaurants, cafés, whatever they are, so it doesn't affect my perception of them.
