Has quite a similar vibe to Glastonbury. There are checkpoints between campsite and stages, but that's just for wristbands, you're allowed to drink anyway. Some good stages, good entertainment later on etc. I'd been intending to go for years as its very local to me, but only really got around to it last year as a couple of friends were playing.

Probably the second best festival I've been to.

First announcement tomorrow, coinciding with Foals record release so I'm fairly confident with them having played several times, and it being their local festival, it may be them.

The Vaccines and YMA6 did last year. I was going more off the fact its their local festival, it was their first ever festival etc. etc. As I said, I'd forgotten they fell out with the festival the year it was cancelled, so that may be their sticking point.

Ah OK. Well it it isn't a given but FR are known to wrap up bands in exclusive deals and have them play R&L and Latitude, and the guy from Truck was complaining last year about having to deal with exclusivity deals major festivals get bands to sign. Other point still stands, a band the size of 3rd R&L/Latitude headliners are probably too big for Truck.

Aside from the six headliners already announced here are some other day splits (from official sites):

Friday - Ash, The Joy Formidable, Max Raptor, Treetop Flyers

Saturday - Gaz Coombes, Ultrasound, Royal Republic, Alessi's Ark,

Lewis Watson, Brother & Bones.

More acts today, they have said that there's a couple of big slots on the main stage still to announce for the Saturday so might get some names around the same size as The Joy Formidable or Patrick Wolf I guess.

Looking forward to Truck, usually a great little festival and last year was particularly good job from the new organisers. Can’t wait: Horrors, Public Service Broadcasting, Dan le Sac + all the bands in the day will be on my must see list… Will Butts Brewery be running the a real ale bar again…?

I have a campervan ticket for sale for £25 (about a tenner under face value if you include all the fees and charges). I sold my campervan and they (Gigantic/ Truck) won’t give me a refund

Anyone interested in it? I can post if there’s enough time or deliver on the door

Cheers
