As most of you will know the Sub Club is regarded as one of the most forward thinking nightclubs in the world. Last year we were spoiled rotten by RockNess as we kicked off our 25 Year birthday celebrations in the unbelievably picturesque surroundings of the worlds most famous Loch.

RockNess has been one of our favourite festivals for years and we couldnt be more pleased to announce that we will be kicking off the 2013 Sub Club Sound System with two of the UKs biggest house music hitters, Julio Bashmore & BBC Radio 1s new addition, Jackmaster.

Bristolian JULIO BASHMORE is leading the charge as the UKs most exciting young DJ & producer, cultivating a new audience for British house music like no one else right now. Having garnered a devoted following based on a slew of singles and EPs since 2009, last year saw the launch of his new label Broadwalk Records. The level of excitement surrounding Au Seve, one of last years standout house tracks, was the catalyst for the stratospheric rise of his career so far. Bashmore followed Au Seve by lending a hand on the incredible JESSIE WAREs Mercury-nominated Devotion - Jesse being another RockNess must-see artist.

JULIO BASHMORE is most definitely delivering on the hype!

A genuine homegrown hero, Glaswegian JACKMASTERs rise to fame is about as storybook perfect as it gets. Co-founder of the citys long running NUMBERS collective, which played to packed out crowds at the legendary SUB CLUB and swiftly spread to dancefloors across the world, the element of glorious surprise underpins his sets every time. Having recently secured a show on BBC Radio Ones In New DJs We Trust, Jackmaster has also released a mix album as part of the Fabric Live series helping to make him one of the UKs most in-demand DJs. Few can hype a crowd quite like JACKMASTER - his global DJing schedule for 2013 bears testament to this - so we are extremely pleased to be welcoming him back to the Sub Club Sound System for what is sure to be an unmissable set of high quality house music.
