First bit of gardening in 2023.  Planted 18 bare root strawberry plants in tubs and containers in the greenhouse.  First time I've had a go at strawberries.  Most of the greenhouse will be filled later with tomatoes to be grown in the greenhouse and for starting off bedding plants and veg (mainly runner beans) for the garden and veg patch.

im attempting strawberries this year ... ive got some fruit but think im quite a bit behind with them maybe should have started earlier , same with tomatoes as ive none  with any colour yet

Picked my first runner beans of the season today and there should be some tomatoes soon in the old greenhouse.  Going to try to take runners from the strawberry plants for next year.

If I recall rightly, you just had fencing all around. Is that right? No matter what way it was, you've created a wonderful garden. I'd say it gets the bees vote too.

photo of when I moved in on previous page .... was walled but that was covered by cane role fencing . not so many bees this year sadly I think the wet weather has impacted early in the year but a few out today
