I was wondering which acts would likely be playing this year, also the age restriction has now gone up, it now says you have to be 17 years or older to be unaccompanied by an adult, as I'm 16 was just wondering if someone could tell me, based on other festivals etc. whether they would be tight on this rule or not?

Maybe they increased the age thing because last year it was young unaccompanied people messing themselves up with dodgy pills and needing an ambulance? I love this festival but seriously at time the sheer amount of year 10/11/12s running about off their face because mum and dad wern't around to rein it in a bit made it feel like the very worst contingent of Glastonbury had got their very own festival and it all felt a bit "Lord of the Flies" ;)

That said plenty of young kids did manage to have a good time without being twatish and getting totally w*nkered but I guess the festival realised after last year for the sake of safety and their ongoing reputation it might be wise to up the age limit to exclude unsupervised 16 year olds but still allow most 6th formers to attend without adult supervision?

I know a LOT of the local school's year 10 are planning on going unaccompanied so you won't be alone in trying to get admission.
