Yep, Stevenee is correct, if it's the same as last year.

There's a wristband tent outside the main arena entrance. You take you're ticket there and they'll give you a wristband, but you'll need to show your ticket and your wristband everytime you go into the arena. Not sure how it works on the campsites, as I didn't camp last year - I can sleep in my own bed!

Anyone know if there's any decent bars in the local villages or towns? Not much I'm bothered about seeing on Saturday til early evening.

There's not really any bars as such, in town - just one that I can think of, on Baanstraat, called D'r Sjutt. The Netherlands doesn't really have the drinking/pub culture that the UK does, they just tend to have cafes that sell beer. You could hop on a train to the near by (small) city of Heerlen, which has a few cafe/bars. Trains go pretty regularly from Landgraaf station and it doesn't take more than 5 minutes to get to Heerlen. If you're feeling slightly more adventurous, you could even get a train to Maastricht (changing at Heerlen), which would take about 45 minutes each way.

If you like decent beer, try the Lange Jan in Heerlen (Bongerd 3 is the street address) - they have about 70 different beers. Easy to find - it's on a square in the centre, next to McDonalds.
