That would be 3 poor headliners for me, I like PJ but NIN and Tool wouldn't really be great, on the subject of Tool I know they headlined in 2006 and I know they dont tour the UK very often but are they really still headline status I would put them subbing at a max, dont think they would have the pull anymore bar their hardcore fans

I agree they're a hard band to place, it depends how you look at it though.Tool last played a UK show in 2007 which would be 7 years by the time the next festival rolls around, in comparison that's a lot longer than NIN or FOB have been away & people are marking out for their "reunions". Hell even SOAD were only away for 6 years before their reunion...

I guess it may depend on the new album though, if it's released before & is as successful as their past out puts then they'd certainly be booked to headline. If they're booked before on the back of previous success & the fact they haven't played here in 7 years then I guess it's a judgement call on the part of Mr Copping.

Absolutely, it doesn't bother me too much about the headliner as long as the sub is ok. And of course the rest of the undercard. I must say I liked the 09 line up. Something for everyone, the only headliner i wasn't bothered about was faith no more - only because i saw them a few times in the 90's

PJ are on my must see list. Tool seemed to have passed me by somehow, I'll give them a listen after this year. NIN I just don't get. At all, and I've tried recently. If they play Leeds as rumoured I'll go and see them just to see if it's a w*nk as their records are. I can't for the life of me see what the fuss is about. Maybe it'll click and I'll get it if I see them live. This happens sometimes. True story right there.
