Saw Johnny Marr last night at the Brudenell and he was ace. He did a few Smiths songs (Stop Me, Bigmouth, London and a stunning How Soon Is Now) and a couple of Electronic songs, along with most of his new album, which is pretty good. His voice on the Smiths stuff was weirdly like Mozzers as well, or that might have been my failing judgement after a few shandies, If he confirms for Kendal he's not to be missed

There's nothing like a few smiths songs slipped in the set to liven the crowd up though, if you're there to see Johnny Marr I'm sure it'll be what you hoped for before he came on stage
