VIP Upgrade

So I bought an early bird ticket last August and have just had an email offering me a VIP upgrade, has anyone ever had much experience of going VIP what re the perks???

Not worth that much really but it was pretty good last year being able to go to the toilets and bar without a queue. This is Stafford though, the VIP is by the 4 Music stage there so it was perfect when we had a full afternoon of bands with 20 min changeovers - it'd take 15-20 min just to get in the regular bar queue but we got to toilet and served at the cash bar within about 10 so back in the crowd for the band.

I remember from previous years next to the stages there has been a door where you can see acts going on and off stage would VIP give u access to this area or any backstage access or is that a really stupid question lol

I've gone VIP the last 4 times.

I would recommend it personally - like the area just to chill a bit, decent bar, seating and a good atmosphere too.

But then I am older than the average V goer so may be my age talking!!

Thinking about it - are we talking about VIP Hospitality or the Secret Garden thing? They're different places....

Not sure i know you get things like chill out area, VIP toilets after show DJ sets and exclusive food drink area

You won't get backstage or artist access with a VIP ticket. It's just a guest area with a slightly nicer bar and loos. I've never seen anyone recognisable when I've been in them.

I think last year the most famous person in VIP was probably Billie Piper or Emma Bunton. And that's saying a lot.
