Although I don't expect c&s to move down, people are forgetting they were booked as sub under the request from the prodigy. Then you have the conundrum of if prodigy could headline (could have headlined last years) reading and leeds, also the same goes with SOAD playing top at download sub at R&L. It's not as straight forward as it may seem....

That's true, but i think it's pretty clear they would of had a tbc for the subs at least - and they massively suit playing under eminem with the crossover appeal while not being too similar.

Look at it this way, if you think it's a weak sub, (which you shouldn't because everyone knows probably at least 5 of their songs), you have 2 other amazing massive subs. Chins up!

Not expecting Modest Mouse to be added anymore, just announced a UK tour that careers through their dates at T and probably Latitude, which stops at Leeds as well, so I don't imagine they'll be in Europe for August sadly.

Also, off topic but I found a random Dinosaur Jr gig at Sub89 in Reading in July on my Songkick app. Might be of interest to some of those Reading goers that were hoping for an appearance before they were a festival exclusive for EOTR, there were definitely a few.

Latitude's announcement has made me pretty set that I'm not going to Reading this year. If I decide I can't miss NIN, then I'll go to Pukkelpop, if I want to do another festival generally, I'll go to Latitude. Can't really afford 3 major ones this year sadly and the R+L lineup sucks balls apart from a couple of acts.

Think I'll stop lingering around here until October/November time.
