DaveElNino
System of a Down Eminem Nine Inch Nails Biffy Clyro Deftones Brand New Foals Fall Out Boy Frank Turner Green Day This is the first time since my first Leeds/Reading in 2003 that the main stage has had pretty much all of the bands I want to see. Of the top 15 acts on main, I'm planning on seeing 12 of them - which is a massive shift from previous years where I've rarely spent much time there at all. I definitely think this is a big push from FR to try and attract more of the "traditional" sort of Reading goer, what with Sonisphere not being around. To do that they've then had to go for more of the newer stuff for the R1/NME stage to still have appeal to the teenaged crowd (obviously generalising massively there). VCK
chorus effect, it isn't miming.
lightning1000
It's not quite chorus effect, but simply rapping over the original track being played back, so there's effectively two vocal tracks at once, which is why it sounds like the chorus effect is being used. It's something that's been quite common in live Hip-Hop shows for years. If you watch videos of Public Enemy or N.W.A. from the 80s the chorus sounding effect is there as well. But I agree, don't know where people get this idea that Eminem mimes.

Com Truise
Here we go, just found this, if Foals aren't in your top 10 now, go and see them at R/L and they definitely will be afterwards. This blew any set I saw at Leeds last year out of the water, on par with Foo's for me, obviously I'm a big Foals fan though, but I went with a couple of mates who weren't really big fans, and they were blown away. Go and see them at R/L they fucking deserve that spot

scmck
No particular order: 1. Greenday 2. Peace 3. Bastille 4. Imagine Dragons 5. Biffy Clyro 6. Foals 7. Chase & Status 8. Frank Turner 9. White Lies 10. Eminem Sunday at Leeds is going to be an absolute bitch for clashes.. I could easily stay at either the nme tent or the main stage for the full day and not move! For me personally it is a great line up so many bands on there that have been on my to see list for a while!
