Com Truise
Wierd, not only do NME have Trent on the front cover (recognition, at last), but refer to NIN as headliners more than once... http://www.nme.com/news/nine-inch-nails/72140
Com Truise
Also, it must be a co-headline, 90 minutes each is surely what it's gonna be. Which is pretty sick.
luckysalt
They're referred to as headliner about 67 times in that article, mind you it is the NME. Also have you seen the front cover, Here comes the big guns. NIN, Eminem, Biffy Clyro, Green Day.... and Jake Bugg! WTF is he doing on the front, he's not even headlining the stage he's on! SOAD should have been listed instead!

Mouseboy11
I actually think Jake Bugg is very talented Not that he's on level with those guys.

Com Truise
I wouldn't go as far to say "extremely" talented, he wouldn't need so much help writing songs if he was extremely talented

kaosmark2
Personally I think NIN could upstage Biffy...
Areophobia
Having seen both at least 4 times. NIN WILL upstage Biffy.
lost
So I'm left a little surprised after the Leeds performance after having seen the fuji rocks and lollapalooza gigs on you tube. Completely different set list with none of the screens in the background. Found it a little subdued. Surprised no hurt at the end too. Yellow_Fellow
I think so too. Biffy are superb but do not have the sheer variety of music that NIN do.
lightning1000
Nin also didn't play came back haunted or copy of a. They weren't even half as good as 07. Biffy completely overshadowed them. I was watching them with life long nin fans and they said it was the worst they'd ever seen them. Still good, just not great.
she bangs the drums
I would agree Biffy out did NIN with the stage show but I thought NIN were far superior musically, one of my mates is a massive Green Day/System fan and thinks NIN were the best band he has seen all weekend despite not knowing much of their material, personally it wasn't as good as 2007 but I guess Trent was taken aback by the response of the crowd or lack of it at Pukklepop and decided to change the show due it being in day light, I think Reading will get the new show tonight which is a bit shit for us people at Leeds! lightning1000
Personally for me, soad have been the band of the weekend along with biffy. All the guys in soad seemed like they were having a really good time and they were the tightest I've ever heard them. I'm not sure if its true, but from what I've heard posted, the band's seem to be going down a lot better with the crowd at Leeds than reading. Mouseboy11
NIN aren't being streamed by the looks of things, not on the "later" list.
willutalk
Hoping NIN are better at Reading than at Leeds. The lack of Hurt and Closer aintgreat but still hopefully should be good!
lightning1000
Yup, no sanctified either. Or any New material.
Mouseboy11
Trent Reznor @trent_reznor34s Should be an unusual show tonight at Reading... Trent Reznor @trent_reznor1m ...the lying promoter and the band following us (whoever the fuck they are) fucked us on our production. Uh oh, knew something was up. lightning1000
And there it is.. you really did get the feeling that they didn't want to be there.
zero000
I wonder what Biffy Clyro's demands were for this? Real shame they couldn't have the full production.
