Guys, since the organisers seem to have turned their backs on this forum, you may be interested in this announcement which I came across on another site:

"We at EOTR are anxious that the festival should keep expanding and not become pigeon-holed in any specific niche or genre, and with the increase in numbers this year we think this will give us more scope for further diversity.

When Tinariwen played the festival a couple of years we felt the change in style fitted in really well and provided a colourful touch of eclecticism, and as a reflection of this and our sense of the growing importance of "world music" we are super-delighted to be able to share with you that we've been able to book The Lady Boys Of Bangkok to appear at our festival, and treat us to a couple of their uniquely appealing shows. We've been big fans for a number of years and are sure they'll prove super-popular here, but for those who haven't had the pleasure, here's a sample:

We'll be getting the stewards to dress up to fit the occasion, and hope you'll do the same and enter into the spirit of what we're sure will be a unique and colourful event, and a festival first!.
