I think they'll struggle next year with headliners myself, AC/DC won't be back, Aerosmith, Def Leppard, System, Slipknot, Metallica, Iron Maiden all been too recent. My Chemical Romance who I thought could return have split up. KISS don't appear to be a strong enough lead headliner, I don't think they'll be able to get a classic rock act.

I don't know if they'd risk getting Biffy after it would only be a 2 year gap and them headlining Reading this year plus doing a massive tour.

I think the headliners will end up being Avenged Sevenfold, Tool and Red Hot Chili Peppers. But theres no real STRONG mass appeal headliner there, you would say RHCP but interest has dwindelled, if they're ready to tour again, I think Copping will go all out and try and get Foo Fighters.

Tool - Avenged Sevenfold - Foo Fighters that seems much stronger.

In fact, I think with the news Foos have started the new album when they were going to be away for a long while, only adds to the fact they've decided to do fests in 2014 afterall, I'd bet the farm Foos are the leading headliner for next year

LostProphets reunion tour??

Really hope it's not Tool, no matter how hard I try I just don't get them. Saw them years back at Ozfest and thought they were dire and never want to see them again...

Problem is, as everyone says year on year, the pool to pick from is pretty small. You can go out on a limb for one headliner, but you are limited for the other 2 and the rest of the main stage line up. How about megadeth / slayer co headlining one day? I mean both bands seem to have lived at Donington for the last 10 years and I for one am pretty gutted neither are hear this year, always quality performances in my opinion...

Would quite like to see something a little out if the box as well. Prodigy ripped it up last year and it's a good way to broaden the limited spectrum a little. Great to see bands like Hacktivist and Sonic Boom 6 on the bill this time around. Don't get me wrong, this is a rock festival first and foremost but a little variation is refreshing...

Or if we want to go with a big hair metal singalong kind of day how about Bon Jovi with Nickelback subbing?? Ok, I'll get my coat...
