Gucci Piggy
Avenged Sevenfold Paramore Motley Crüe Nickelback Alter Bridge Frank Turner Tool Nine Inch Nails Dream Theater Bring Me The Horizon headlining 2nd stage one day. Knife Party headlining 3rd stage one day. Although maybe Nine Inch Nails will think twice about subbing festivals after R&L this year. jammy2211
Not sure where the idea that Deftone's popularity is on the rise is coming from? They downgraded venues on the last tour from the previous, 'Diamond Eyes' tour. They're firmly in the Korn/Limp Bizkit category of 3rd main, headline 2nd now. jump
it was a ridiculous idea to have NIN sub at Reading. Yes they got them on a exclusive return but if they don't really fit why does it matter.

OllieBaker90
do people really think nickelback are going to be one of the headliners? also when does the first headliner usually get announced? isnt it sometime in september? saintedward
Sonisphere was awesome, the layout of two stages playing one by one really worked well and meant you could see leads of bands without having to wait an age between Sets, looks like Soni is dead but would be great to see other festivals pick up the mantle... as for people saying about headliners, would rather see A7X headline than Nickleback, sure Chad and the Kroegers have some catchy songs but when it comes to jets of flame, and feel good rawk A7X have it. also, LOG headlined BloodStock this year, why couldn't they headline Download? or if RATM are still doing any gigs they'd be spot on... there are plenty bands court there, just hope they choose the right ones. Dead throne
I'd love to see log headline Download, but they're just not big enough...BOA is also a much much smaller festival, with only a capacity of like 12,000...

Gucci Piggy
The issue I found with the soni system was that if you didnt like the band on the main stages there was virtually no alternative. Sure the standard set up means you have clashes but I still prefer having the choice personally. And LoG are absolutely nowhere near big enough to headline Download, its about 7 or 8 times the size of bloodstock.

dentalplan
his quote of never too early makes me laugh when he was like pissed at soni. did he kinda drop a hint they might be one? it'll be 2 years then didn't metallica in the uk lol and might be the only fest that couldget them in on a greatest hist set and get away with it, that said i'm not expecting it to be, i think they need more if a7x and nickel are the other two

Dietediet
This might be interesting for you fellas as well: Hurricane organizer (which is in Germany halfway June) said that there's 50% chance RATM will be playing at his festival. devilman
Pearl Jam, A7X and RATM. Not a great year but I'm all over it especially as Seether will be there too. Last Saxon gig ever. You heard it here first, take it to the bank whilst you still can.

Tobieski
If both Pearl Jam and Rage headline next year I would be so annoyed, because usually download has no depth in its line up for my tastes, but I'd have to go to see those two. luckysalt
Coping was desperate for them to get a number 1 album so they can use it in defense if they're big enough
