lightning1000
I've never seen so many cancellations and day switches at a festival before. Hopefully now that day tickets go on sale this will stop. Really happy with the announcement, royal blood, against me! The wildhearts and orange goblin are all great additions. luckysalt
The line up really has changed around A LOT this year, main stage has changed too much apart from Joe B and Bury Tomorrow being bumped to main stage. Royal Blood only got announced last week via Classic Rock poster on 4th stage and now this week they've been bumped up to third stage. Crazy. Still all in all with all this that Andy has had to deal with I think we've been left with a really good line up. There's so much on the line up that I've never seen before. Its only really main stage with acts that I've seen. On Second stage across the whole weekend all I've seen before is Offspring, Trivium and Pretty Reckless [i may have seen The Answer too] Third stage only Letlive and Arcane Roots And Fourth stage only Heart in Hand So Im gunna see a bunch of new acts this year

justanothername
Baby Godzilla and Drenge! I think Download have some great smaller bands this year! I haven't seen Baby G yet (plan on changing that soon) but I do recommend Drenge as they were brilliant when I saw them in March Edited April 7, 2014 by justanothername

luckysalt
Saw Copping confirm this earlier, great news, hope they play it at the start of their set.
DomDom1984
Cracking album that. Kinda jealous now. "Smash" and "Hybrid Theory" on one festival bill. Think it's underwhelming top to bottom but that sort of makes it more appealing.
Gucci Piggy
Maybe if Hybrid Theory wasn't so shit.

thegremlin_1999
The problem with comparison tho is clashes. There's about 8-9 bands on download Friday I'd like to see but only 2-3 I'd be ABLE to see...
justanothername
I prefer Downloads line up this year. Even though the headliners aren't great (would still happily go and see them mind you) but the smaller bands this year are incredible! There is more I want to see at Download than Sonisphere as well Edited April 9, 2014 by justanothername

lightning1000
Loads of clashes for me. flogging Molly, let live. and baby Godzilla is a nightmare clash. Also drenge, royal blood. Skindred, the answer. Avenged, the offspring Bad religion, Rob zombie Lonely the brave, coldrain Marmozets, skid row Joe bonamassa, sepultura Seether, against me! Yup, it's clashfest 2014 for me
justanothername
Drenge and Royal Blood would be bad for me and so would Baby Godzilla and letlive. but I'm planning on not going that day so it doesn't affect me.
Moey
So, everyone has to get their first one out of way, right? I was wondering what people's view were on any remaining slots, and who they would like to see in there. For me, I'm well happy with the likes of the temperance movement and bonamassa. Although I'm not sure how well his blues style will go down on the main stage (could have been better higher up the 2nd) I'd be happy for something like skunk anansie on the Friday as it's looking pretty thin for me. scrubbertheman
Skunk Anansie would be a great addition. I've never been able to catch them live before
