I don't understand how they can get a licence to show the footy at that time but not late night live music. Obviously the footy will be quieter but surely it is the same entertainment licence.

If there are 80,000 people there, I would estimate that at least 60,000 are English so it won't be that quiet.

Imagine if the bands went on until 1am.Brilliant.

I can't see there being more than about 15k watching the match in the arena. It's been shown elsewhere for campers etc so there won't be too may there.

Plus, now they're doing this for us non-camping types, will the shuttle busses run longer?

Not sure they're still showing it in the campsites too. The black camping field where the screen was going to be has reverted to black camp on the up to date map with the village cinema screen back where it was

Copping said the bars and food stalls will all be staying open.

BTW, if you didn't see beer tokens are £4.50 again this year. In fact it looks like the entire food/drink prices are frozen.

On the subject of beer tokens, it's been confirmed that you can trade in your unspent ones at the end of the event.

According to the stuff on coppings twitter they will play for 5 minutes on one of those stages but have aaked that one other stage stay empty for their slot and ten minutes either side of it
