I was suggesting nothing of the sort, I meant that anyone who would rather watch those bores stand there and plod through the motions, as opposed to 45 mins of OFWKTA bounce about like loons causing chaos, is a NAZI!!!

If people genuinely could take nothing from that performance simply as it involved no one playing a musical instrument, I genuinely feel for them

Musically it was a horrific, god awful mess, as a 'performance' it was magnificent

How do you define credible though? I can't see any 'credible' guitar acts that are big enough with R&L's target audience to justify a top-two spot, and any guitar acts that are big enough probably aren't 'credible'.

If you're big enough to headline a 90,000 capacity commercial festival aimed at teenage mainstream indiepoprock music fans than you've probably done something along the way to lose your credibility.

True, but he's never topped Illmatic, same with how Oasis never topped What's The Story Morning Glory.

I like to think of Public Enemy as The Stone Roses, and then N.W.A. as Happy Mondays. The parallels are there.

Odd Future? They're like Jake Bugg or The Courteeners or The Enemy or someone like that. Popular due to their gimmicks.

Yeah, but I'm OK with that. Lots of acts have never topped their one of the first two albums but still released worthy stuff. Smashing Pumpkins, De La Soul, Pixies, Pearl Jam, Mogwai, Led Zep. Nas' later stuff is still good and worth listening to, Oasis' isn't.
