hello all festival goers

i was hoping that any of you would like to share some of your experiances of going to smaller british music festivals.

i am doing a study into the community aspect of these sorts of festival or what some people call 'boutique' festivals. so if anyone has any stories to tell about how they felt part of a community at any festival, or how a festival can offer an escape for them and what it is about festivals that allows this, i would be eternally greatful. also if you have any other comments about anything relating to this i would love to hear them

Define 'boutique', as in what capacity?

If they are confusing small festivals and boutique festivals this is going to be yet another shit dissertation

im not defining them as boutique music festivals in my disertation, i have just used it as a term that some people use so that you had an understanding of what i was on about, my main focus is on small to medium music festivals with the emphasis being on ones similar secret garden party, i just used the berm 'boutique' here as i have come across this many times in referance of these types of festivals
